A total of 235 students participated in Cowley College’s 98th Commencement exercises Saturday inside W.S. Scott Auditorium.

Along with the conferring of degrees, Tanner Blackmore, a 2019 graduate of Cowley College, was the featured speaker at Commencement.

Student Senate president Jesse Hernandez, and Student Senate vice president Audrianna Bruce, also addressed the class as did Outstanding Tiger Alumni award recipient John Sturd.

Saturday’s graduates will receive their diplomas in June. A total of 456 students were candidates for graduation. A reception for graduates, family members and friends was held immediately following the ceremonies in front of W.S. Scott Auditorium.
