This Allied Health program specializes in training students to code patients’ medical information for insurance purposes using the CPT, HCPCS and the ICD 9 / ICD 10 coding system, an international uniform classification system that groups related diagnoses and procedures for use in medical insurance billing and statistical reporting which complies with state and federal regulation. Upon successful completion, the student will receive a certificate or AAS degree.
